Legislative Agenda

Policy Priorities &
The Five Acts

A comprehensive roadmap for IL-07. From safeguarding democracy to ensuring economic opportunity, these are not just promises—they are engineered solutions.

The Five Acts

Proposed legislative framework for the 2026 session.

1
Democracy Forward Act  (DFA)

Reclaim Congress from Executive Overreach

Reclaims stolen authority with four unbreakable pillars and one urgent call to action, including Congressional veto of major executive orders and closing the Insurrection Act loophole.

2
Economic Engine and Jobs Act

Profit Sharing & Support of Skills Improvements for All Workers

Empowers non-union workers and launches a state-by-state movement for unions to advocate for all through a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to non-union representation.

3
Immigration Reform Act

Keep the Baby, Drain the Bathwater

Mass deportation is appalling. We reform, not destroy. Keep the economic power of immigration (the baby) and drain violent crime and fraud (the bathwater).

Health & Human Rights Act

Our Body, Our Choice

Every individual deserves bodily autonomy — no government interference in medical and health decisions made with licensed professionals.

5
The Village Act

It Takes a Village to Raise a Village

We must lift the economically, physically, mentally, and educationally disadvantaged to self-sustainability — or we all sink deeper.

Strategic Priorities
I.

Democracy, Inclusion, and Institutional Integrity

Safeguarding Democratic Principles

Support and strengthen laws that protect democracy, uphold constitutional rights, and prevent the abuse of power at every level of government.

Ensuring Fair and Accessible Voting

Guarantee that every eligible citizen can vote easily, securely, and fairly, removing barriers to participation and promoting trust in the electoral process.

Protecting Institutional Independence

Maintain the integrity of key public agencies—such as the DOJ, FBI, CDC, and EPA—by keeping them free from political interference and ensuring their decisions are guided by evidence, ethics, and the public interest.

Promoting Civic Education and Media Literacy

Empower all people, especially those less informed, with knowledge about how democracy works, the importance of civic duty, and the skills to identify and resist misinformation.

Defending Fundamental Freedoms

Protect and champion freedom of speech, assembly, press, religion, and the right to petition the government—ensuring these rights are exercised without fear of punishment or reprisal.

II.

Opportunity, Liberty, Justice, and the Pursuit of Happiness

Pathways to Meaningful Work

Build strong, accessible pathways for everyone to secure rewarding jobs, support small businesses, and ensure fair pay, comprehensive benefits, and safe working environments.

Universal Education & Training

Guarantee that all students—regardless of location or economic background—receive the education and training needed to pursue fulfilling careers and lifelong learning.

Affordable Housing for All

Make safe, affordable housing available to those who need it most, supporting stability and dignity in every community.

Accessible Health & Mental Health Care

Create equitable access to health care and mental health support, especially for those facing financial barriers. Ensure public spaces and schools are fully accessible for people with disabilities.

Justice System Equity & Rehabilitation

Address inequities in the justice system, promote rehabilitation, restorative justice and help individuals re-enter the workforce as contributing members of society.

Respect for Indigenous Nations

Honor the rights of Indigenous nations and uphold treaty commitments, fostering respect and partnership.

Fair & Humane Immigration Policies

Support immigration laws and policies that are fair, humane, and economically sound, welcoming those who seek opportunity and safety.

Empowering Youth Leadership

Help young people become leaders, independent thinkers, problem solvers, patient, and active participants in their communities.

Celebration of Arts, Culture, and Heritage

Champion the arts, cultural expression, and the celebration of every heritage, enriching society and strengthening unity.

Inclusive Fiscal Policy

Ensure that leaders and legislators allocate tax resources to fully support these priorities, providing sufficient funding for those who are economically, mentally, physically, or educationally disadvantaged.

Promotion of Voluntary Charitable Funding

Encourage voluntary contributions to charitable programs and community initiatives, and provide tax incentives to individuals and organizations that support these efforts.

III.

Stewardship, Peace, and Global Responsibility

Environmental Protection & Climate Action

Protect the environment, mitigate climate change, support clean energy, and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. Promote responsible stewardship of natural resources for current and future generations.

Healthy Nutrition & Sustainable Agriculture

Ensure universal access to nutritious food and encourage sustainable farming practices that protect ecosystems and support community well-being.

Equitable Technology & Digital Inclusion

Make technology and the internet accessible to all, while implementing responsible safeguards to prevent negative impacts on jobs, civil liberties, and social cohesion.

Work proactively for peace worldwide, resolve conflicts through diplomacy, and provide aid to those in need—regardless of borders or background.

Opposition to Hate & Extremism

Stand firmly against hate, extremism, and intolerance in all forms, fostering a culture of respect, inclusion, and mutual understanding.

Reducing Fear and Prejudice Through Science & Education

Commit to using scientific evidence, transparent communication, and measurable facts to dispel fear and prejudice. Promote education and open dialogue to build trust, resilience, and empathy within communities.
