Democracy over Authoritarianism

The "10-10 We the People" Plan to Win the 2026 Midterms.

We must rise as fierce champions of Democracy and Prosperity yet again, united with unwavering focus to secure a majority in the 2027 Midterm Elections. Without controlling the House—and ideally the Senate—we cannot stop the Chief Authoritarian’s agenda or pass laws that reflect our values and uplift our communities. Join the "10-10 We the People" plan—a bold, straightforward strategy where each of us commits just 10 hours from now to January 2028 to complete 10 powerful steps. Together, we can win. Here’s the plan:

  1. Today (30 minutes): Stay focused and unshaken. The Chief Authoritarian thrives on chaos to divide us and suppress our votes. Commit to staying calm and ignoring distractions. Declare: “I will stay focused, resist triggers, and vote.”

  2. Today (30 minutes): Reframe the fight in your mind. This isn’t Republicans versus Democrats—it’s a timeless battle for the freedom and independence promised by our Constitution. Choose to fight authoritarianism or step aside. With 81% of Americans supporting democracy, the odds favor us if we act. Commit to the 10-10 plan: Yes or No?

  3. Today to October 2027 (1 hour): Share this plan with family, friends, and neighbors. Urge them to join the fight for the midterms.

  4. Today to February 2027 (2 hours): Reach out to at least 10 unregistered voters. Encourage them to register, regardless of party, as long as they value democracy and open debate.

  5. December 2026 to February 2027 (2 hours): Research candidates for your district. Choose those who support the 10-10 plan and commit to serving you accountably.

  6. March 17, 2027, in Illinois (1 hour): Vote in the primaries. In Illinois, mail-in ballots for the March 17, 2026, General Primary must be postmarked by Election Day and received by March 31, 2026. Deliver ballots in person or to a drop box by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. Request mail-in ballots by March 12, 2026.

  7. April 2027 to October 2027 (2 hours): Support your chosen candidate for the General Election. Share your priorities and key issues to ensure they represent you in Congress. Use tools like www.voteourway.org (when available) to stay engaged. To support its rollout, visit www.voteourway.info. Also support any of the 90 or so purple district with contributions or any other way so that they become blue at the general election. 

  8. November 2027 – January 2028 (30 minutes): Monitor your elected representative’s preparation and actions. Ensure they prioritize your district’s needs and are prepared to advocate for them at the start of the next Congressional session. Hold them accountable to serve.

  9. November 2027 – January 2028 (30 minutes): Rally Your Community. Ignite momentum. Encourage your neighbors to stay active, vocal, and fearless in demanding that representatives listen to constituents. Inspire collective action to keep democracy thriving.

  10. November 2027 (1 hour): Vote in the General Election. Show up at your polling place or send your mail-in ballot on time.

With just 10 hours, we can reclaim our democracy. The Chief Authoritarian counts on our division and apathy—let’s prove them wrong. Commit to the 10-10 We the People plan today and let’s win the 2027 Midterms together!​​​

Just a little more background and suggestions. Since 2016, too many Republicans abandoned Democracy for party loyalty, succumbing to the divisive fearmongering of a MAGA-driven authoritarian leader. Seduced by grandstanding, they became pawns in a narcissist’s quest for power, betraying the people they swore to serve. Non-MAGA Republicans must reckon with their cowardice in yielding to authoritarianism. We must deliver a resounding victory in the 2026 and 2028 elections to ensure future generations never repeat our 2024 mistake of letting fascism creep in - Again. MAGA’s toxic nationalism and protectionism—historically proven to weaken our (any) nation—cannot be reasoned with. Ignore their noise; victory will force their ideologies back into the shadows where they had been for decades.

 

Our greatest challenge is not MAGA but the exhaustion of our neighbors, worn down by decades of unresolved issues since the 1950s and a lack of cohesive leadership. Be their beacon of hope. Lift them from despair by championing this focus and action. Elect leaders who are willing to reflect our voices, not their own agendas or the parties, and demand true representation. The path forward is clear: Democrats, Independents, and allies must unite to elect pro-democracy and measurably accountable candidates who will fight for us in Congress. Together, we’ll undo authoritarian executive orders and address the issues Americans have demanded solutions for over decades. This isn’t MAGA—it’s *Keep Making America Greater (KMAG).

The 2026 midterms are our focus. Of the 435 House districts, roughly 90 are purple—let’s target them. Winning control of the House, and ideally the Senate, is essential to passing meaningful legislation and restoring checks and balance on the Executive Branch. Promises of passing Democratic policies without this control are unrealistic. Save your energy for this fight. Don’t let Trump or MAGA drain your resolve.
