Nation of Eagles Certifies and Endorses Felix Tello for Illinois’ 7th Congressional District in 2026 Primaries

Nation of Eagles, a coalition united for heritage, democracy, opportunity, liberty, justice, and progress is pleased to announce the official vetting, certification, and endorsement of Felix Tello as candidate for the 7th Congressional District of Illinois in the upcoming March 17, 2026 Primaries. In a process that brought together Felix Tello and Nation of Eagles, both found each other to be more transparent, accountable, and focused on achieving results—moving beyond the typical passionate rhetoric that defines most endorsements.


Mission, Values, and Core Principles


Nation of Eagles is founded on the conviction that real progress comes from principled action and unity in diversity. We embrace all heritages—Indigenous, African, Latino, Asian, European—as part of one Nation united in purpose. Every voice matters, and we empower individuals and communities to shape policy, create opportunity, and pursue justice, liberty, and happiness.


We actively oppose racism, extremism, hate, religious intolerance, and violence, while promoting fairness, inclusion, and equal access to justice for all. We honor cultural heritage and traditions, driving innovation and progress while ensuring that wisdom and experience from the past strengthens our future. Integrity and transparency guide every action, building trust through ethical leadership and accountability.


We protect democratic values and ensure everyone can participate in decisions that affect their lives, standing firm against divisive ideologies that threaten unity and freedom. Our commitment to peace prioritizes diplomacy and dialogue, with military intervention only as a last resort and only through coalitions when lives and stability are gravely threatened.


We address risks to the survival and flourishing of all life on Earth—not just humanity— by protecting biodiversity, preserving ecosystems, and managing technological change, ensuring humanity thrives in balance with nature and all species. Progress comes through collaboration, thoughtful dialogue, and measurable impact. We act to deliver real, sustainable results and communicate directly and clearly, especially when urgency is needed.


Policy Priorities by Theme


- Democracy, Inclusion, and Institutional Integrity:

Nation of Eagles supports laws that protect democracy and prevent abuse of power, ensures everyone can vote easily and fairly, and keeps public institutions free from political influence. We are committed to educating the public about democracy, civic duty, and the importance of combating misinformation. We defend freedom of speech, assembly, press, religion, and the right to petition the government—without fear of reprisals.


- Opportunity, Liberty, Justice, and the Pursuit of Happiness:

We work to create strong pathways to good jobs, support small businesses, and advocate for fair pay, benefits, and safe workplaces. Nation of Eagles is dedicated to equitable education and training for all, affordable housing, accessible healthcare and mental health support, and public spaces that serve people with disabilities. We address equity in the justice system, support rehabilitation, honor Indigenous nations’ rights, and promote fair and humane immigration reform. We also encourage youth leadership and the celebration of arts and heritage.


- Stewardship, Peace, and Global Responsibility:

Nation of Eagles prioritizes environmental protection, climate change mitigation, clean energy, and sustainable agriculture. We believe in responsible technology use, ensuring it benefits all and does not harm jobs or civil liberties. Our coalition stands for global peace, humanitarian aid, and the responsible use of public funds. We oppose hate and extremism and are committed to using resources for the public good.

Our values and priorities are completely aligned, especially in our shared commitment to principled, progressive policy change. My 7th District Legislative Agenda was built directly from the voices of over 4,000 constituents while having worked hard to get their signatures to be certified by the Illinois’ Board of Elections on the ballot—our district priorities became the foundation for five ready-to-act bills:
