WE THE PEOPLE. VOTE ON BILLS
How the initial 7th District Legislative Agenda was created
In just 85 days of walking the district, meeting you in neighborhood venues, collecting your signatures, and discussing your legislative needs with over 4,000 of you, I heard one clear roar: REAL LEGIS:ATIVE CHANGE — ENOUGH TALK in how we act to solve our legislative needs.

You ranked the solutions and priorities yourself. I listened, worked with subject matter experts, connected the dots and stitched the legislative fabric together, and turned your priorities into five ready-to-act bills—listed below in your priority order, they are:

-
Democracy Forward Act — Reclaim Congress (WE THE PEOPLE) from Executive Overreach
-
Economic Engine & Jobs Act — Profit Sharing & Support of Skills Improvements for All Workers
-
Immigration Reform Act of 2027 — Keep the Baby, Drain the Bathwater

By clicking on the Act Name above, you may go directly to the ACT and view the detailed provisions. Or you may review and find a summary of all 5 Acts below.

Here’s how we drive your legislative agenda forward:
-
You and your voting neighbors set the priority by voting on them with the voteourway.org app. - Coming in January 2026.
-
We draft or refine each bill together through legislative town circles that will begin the week beginning December 15, 2025. See schedule and sign up.
-
Submit your thoughts to campaign@felixforcongress.org with your edits, ideas, or questions.
-
Want to express them or talk a little? Leave a voicemail at (872) 361-5447.
Once you have the VOW App, on your smart phone,
-
You will vote yes or no on whether I carry it to Congress on your behalf. If yes, I fight smarter and negotiate with other Congresspersons, until it passes—or until the district says "let's stop and move on" to other priorities.
-
We will continue the legislative town circles as a continuous way to refine the legislative you ask me to sponsor, co-sponsor or just sign on to, to support.

It’s hard work for an accountable representative, but with voteourway.org is makes it simple for all registered voters: Just 10–15 minutes a week on the app.

Until the VOW app is relaunched and live again, please email us at campaign@felixforcongress.org, or attend another of our legislative town circles.

Your voice. My oath. Our victory.

Democracy Forward Act (DCA)
Title: Democracy Forward Act — Reclaim Congress from Executive Overreach
Purpose & Background
Executive overreach has usurped Congress’s Article I powers—through unchecked executive orders, illegal impoundment, weaponization of federal agencies, and the dangerous misuse of the Insurrection Act to threaten deployment of the military against peaceful American citizens exercising their First Amendment rights.
The Democracy Forward Act reclaims that stolen authority with four unbreakable pillars and one urgent call to action:
-
Congressional veto of major executive orders
-
A permanent, total ban on impoundment
-
Full statutory independence for the Department of Justice, FBI, Department of Health and Human Services, and other critical institutions
-
Closing the 217-year-old Insurrection Act loophole by mandating emergency federal judicial review before any President can ever deploy federal troops or federalized National Guard against the American people, and by permanently prohibiting the use of the military to suppress peaceful assembly, protest, petition, or any other exercise of First Amendment rights

Petition to Congress: The Democracy Forward Act is backed by a nationwide citizens’ preemptive movement demanding that Congress immediately impeach and remove both the President and Vice President and Vice President for violating sacred constitutional lines, and then elect a new Speaker truly committed to defending We the People against executive tyranny.

It is the only constitutional remedy We the People have when the President and Vice President break their sacred oath to defend the Constitution of the United States. Nothing else is permissible under our Constitution.

Stay tuned—the national petition launches soon. Please return in two weeks (December 3rd.) to find out where to sign it and join the fight.
Title: Economic Engine and Jobs Act
Profit Sharing & Support of Skills Improvements for All Workers
Purpose & Background

America’s 189 million workers are the nation’s largest voting bloc—and its economic engine. 89% are non-union, with no collective voice for better wages, safer workplaces, or a fair share of the prosperity they create. If their grievances aligned, a few days of collective pause could halt the U.S. economy—and the world’s.

We commit to keep this engine strong and thriving. This bill empowers non-union workers and launches a state-by-state movement for unions to advocate for all through a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to non-union representation.

Details launch November 25, 2025. Return here then to learn more and join the effort.

IMMIGRATION REFORM ACT OF 2027
Title: Immigration Reform — Keep the Baby, Drain the Bathwater
Purpose & Background

Immigration built America—from pre-colonial waves of English, French, and Spanish, and all other settlers to today. We would not be the world’s greatest economy and representative democracy without it.

Today, 12 to 14 million undocumented workers and their families contribute $350 billion to GDP and $100 billion to our treasury in taxes annually—with no significant benefits, yet they thrive.

Mass deportation is appalling—especially the violence, denial of due process, and illegal searches and seizures.
We reform, not destroy.
Keep the baby (economic power) — drain the bathwater (violent crime and fraud).

THE VILLAGE ACT
Title: The Village Act — It Takes a Village to Raise a Village
Purpose & Background

We must lift the economically, physically, mentally, and educationally disadvantaged to self-sustainability — or we all sink deeper. Because many in the country do not believe in this survival adage (as proof, please look to the One Big Beautiful Law) and chosen to ask their representatives to cut appropriations that help the disadvantage, we must appeal to those of us that see the value of helping our own-less we sink deeper. This legislation is focused on continuing to raise funds where others are not willing to appropriate our tax dollars to help us all.

On a parallel track is to fix the "misappropriations" of the One Big Beautiful Law.
